Workshop at Carnegie Geophysical Lab

Correlative confocal Raman Imaging Workshop at Carnegie Geophys. Lab

December 5-6, 2017, Carnegie Institution, Washington DC, USA

This workshop will give a detailed introduction to the operational principles and instrumental configurations relevant to confocal Raman imaging along with correlative techniques (e. g. AFM, SNOM, and SEM). Our speakers from prestigious institutes will cover various aspects of Raman imaging and their fields of applications. Speakers from WITec will demonstrate the latest advances in microscopes and equipment development.

The equipment demonstration conducted by experienced WITec scientists will give a detailed introduction to the operational principles and instrumental configurations relevant to confocal Raman microscopy.

During the two-day workshop the participants will have sufficient time for in-depth discussions and close interaction with leading scientists and users of WITec microscope systems.

Scientists interested in chemically identifying and imaging the compounds of a sample at the highest spatial resolution are invited to participate.

Please register for participation. You can register for one day only or both days. Attendance is free of charge.

The number of participants is limited. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

For registration please fill in the form at the bottom of this side.
